Guidelines for abstracts

You have to be identified in order to submit an abstract. If you already have an account on sciencesconf.org or on HAL, you just have to logon. Otherwise you have to click here to create an account.

It's possible to submit multiple abstracts from the same account.

Participants to the congress are invited to present their work by oral communication or poster. Abstract have to be submitted before June 07, 2012 by completing the form with Adobe Reader software.
Lenght of the abstract is limited to 2500 signs. Nor table, nor figure can be submitted. Advice: use Calibri font in your text editor to keep special characters.

Submission of abstract is only possible online at this address. During submission you have to complete different tabs:
  1. Metadatas
    • Title
    • Type (oral communication / poster)
    • Topic
  2. Author(s)
    • Add a new author (+) : only the speaker has to be mentioned in this section
    • Add a new affiliation...
  3. File(s)
    • Main file: it's the pdf form you have completed
    • Comment: files uploaded in the Supplementary data part will be ignore
  4. Overview
    • This tab allow you to preview your submission before submitting

Modifying your abstract

  • Form: Submission of a new version will overwrite the previous one

Guidelines for poster presentations

  • Poster size : Vertical A0 (118.9 cm high and 84.1 cm large). The poster should be legible from at least 1.5 meter.
  • Poster should be mounted on the assigned board and exposed during the times indicated below:
    • Poster Session 1 : Tuesday September 18
    • Poster Session 2 : Wednesday September 19
 
During the poster session the presenting authors should be present in the poster area for free discussion. Scratch adhesives will be at disposition for poster installation. Only this kind of fixation can be use.

Guidelines for talks

  • Oral presentations will be strictly limited to 15 minutes. A 5-minute period between presentations will accommodate questions, discussion, and introduction of the next speaker. Time limits will be stricly enforced by session chair. Duration for Plenary Conferences is 40 min and 25 min for Invited Conferences
  • Communications have to be in PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx, .pps, .ppsx) or Portable Document Format (.pdf) format. The venue will be equipped with a dedicated PC laptop operated under Windows.
  • Uploading your presentation should be done preferentially once you register for the meeting upon your arrival, Please, bring your presentation on a Flash drive. You should upload your presentation either the day before for an oral presentation in the morning or in the morning if your presentation is scheduled in the afternoon.
  • Please, be present in the conference room 15 min before the beginning of your session in order to have time to discuss with the session chair that will be in charge to introduce you.
  • We recommend to all speakers to have all their slides in English. Oral presentation of your talk in French will be appreciated (except for those who don't speak French).
